Howdy, quite hectic at the moment with work and travel, including heading home to Australia next week. So, it’s another [hopefully] micro edition.

🧰 AI NEWS + LEARNING
Here are a few things I found recently:
<my own stuff> - AI Builder Lab Projects - I’ve been vibe coding like crazy lately - learning, hitting limits, too many open windows, forget what I’m doing, repeat :). There’s a list of projects here with more coming soon. I hope to start writing there too, so maybe you’d like to subscribe. The first post is brilliant.
a little app I built, WFHRoulette :).
DeepLearning.AI Pro Membership - for learning with labs and certificates - I like their courses as they are often cutting edge. I’ll definitely consider this myself.
AI Trading in Real Markets - fun to see AI models going head to head with real $ - definitely people will use AI as investment managers in the not too distant future.
OpenAI ChatGPT Safety - release of statistics and measures OpenAI is taking to improve safety. This is a huge topic and very difficult. I wouldn’t be surprised to see some of the AI tools have similar limits to social media that some countries are starting to impose [ie Australia].
Adobe revamping it’s entire lineup with AI
🗺️ FEATURED INSIGHT
Here’s a few templates that could help you with meetings. Best is that as you use common templates, AI can easily summarise, digest and pick out trends or top topics across meeting minutes for you.
Quite interesting is to create a custom chatGPT or project that does the admin for you - maybe an interesting app idea:
remembers all minutes
remembers all decisions
instant / easy summaries, reminders etc.
Calendar-First Agenda (paste into invite)
title: <outcome> review – decision by end of meeting
when: <date / time> (30 min)
goal: decide on <x> (yes / no or option a / b)
pre-reads: <doc 1> <doc 2> (skim 3–5 min)
roles: host, decider, scribe, timekeeper
agenda (mins): 5 context | 15 discussion | 7 decision | 3 actions
decision rule: decider breaks ties
Live Capture Template
context (2 lines max)
options on the table
risks / assumptions
decision (single sentence)
action items (who / what / when)
open questions / parking lotOne Minute AI Summary
you are my meeting summarizer. using the capture doc, produce:
1) decision (1 sentence)
2) 3 bullets of rationale (short)
3) action table: owner | action | due | dependency
tone: executive, neutral. no fluff.Action Handoff Snippet
decision: <final>
why: <3 bullets>
actions:
- <owner> — <action> — <due>
- <owner> — <action> — <due>
risks / notes: <1 line>
doc: <link> | recording: <link>Rolling Decision Log
date | topic | decision | owner | review date | link
Use AI in Daily Work
**meeting-to-memo (30 seconds)**
turn the summary + action table into a 150-word memo for my VP.
audience: time-poor exec.
include: 1-line decision, 3 bullets impact, 2 asks (resources / approval).
**decision-review nudger (daily 9 am)**
scan the decision log for items with review date in the next 7 days.
draft a 3-line nudge per item with: status question, blocker, next step.
